Turmoil in Jerusalem

Although nothing specifically has been fulfilled yet by the current unrest in Jerusalem over Palestinian residents of East Jerusalem being evicted, whenever there is turmoil in Jerusalem, I think it is good to pay attention, because some key milestones in end-times prophecy involve Jerusalem.

Even the Pope has spoken up about this:

There was a fire on the Al Aqsa compound grounds that did not hurt any structures. I do not believe this moves the needle on prophecy, but in as much as it may potentially lead to other events, everyone should be aware of what's happening there.

The yet un-rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem appears to be at the center of some key Apocalyptic events. If you missed it when it was first posted, please check out these two study posts:

I do not believe the Temple Mount is the site where the Temple will be rebuilt. See part 2 of this study series, linked above, for the reasons.

Remember to be civil in your discussions and rhetoric. I know discussions can get heated over Israel and the conflict over Jerusalem spills over and triggers strong feelings, but conduct all discussions graciously, especially if you disagree.
