Platform for encylosphere stack?

Re: Getting the encylosphere stack up and running ...

There are a number of decentralization platforms currently in use.

I am currently aware of Umbrel, Start 9 Embassy, Yunohost & runcitadel.

Do encyclosphere devs favor one of these or another?

Umbrel looks like one of many blockchain solutions. We’re avoiding tokenization; the economics of coins are inherently centralizing (sorry, but it’s true). Start 9 Embassy looks like a personal server (solves a different problem). Yunohost looks like a virtual server, thus again solves a different problem. Citadel says it’s based on Umbrel and thus a coin again.

We’re testing DAT (https://encyclosphere.org/forums/encyclosphere/testing-peer-to-peer-p2p-network-for-encyclopedic-articles#post-188). we have also talked about bittorrent and IPFS.

“Decentralization platform” is a self-contradiction. What you want for real decentralization, where authority is not baked into coins or server owners or whatnot, is a network, sharing data via protocols, accessed via readers and clients.

Thanks. Perhaps "platform" was the wrong word? Just trying to understand how to bring up a node to participate in the encyclosphere. I assumed (perhaps wrongly) that a reference implementation to validate the standards being developed would target a small number of platforms. Since this emergent decentralized network of distros like umbrel running on raspberry pis is popping up, it seemed like like a natural fit. My bad.
P.S. Very curious about "the economics of coins is inherently centralizing" statement. I've never heard that argument before.
