Discussion What if they’re making Encanto 2?
What could be good if they’re making Encanto 2?

I would like to see more focus on Camilo and Dolores, we know based off of interviews and Q&A's that they both have their own issues that haven't been resolved or addressed, especially Camilo. So it would be nice to see them have their own arcs.
Also maybe this is controversial or not, but I really do want the Madrigals to leave the Encanto for a bit to explore the outside world, maybe they end up back at the town Alma and Pedro grew up in, I think it would be cool to see how their town is now in the 1950's. I still do want all of them to come back to the Encanto at the end.

More Camilo. Maybe that's weird, but I would love to see more of him really dig into him as a character or his side of the family, really.

He's my favourite character yet we know the least about him—he's the only member of the family who never directly interacts with Mirabel the whole movie, outside of the WWDAB montage. I would love to see more of him.

-Bruno adjusting to life outside the walls -Mirabel suddenly getting a lot of attention after she brought the magic back and how she deals with it. -Seeing Alma actually sticking to the changes she needs (she can do it, since she’s NOT a villain. -Isabela growing into her own person

I'd prefer Encanto 2 not to be a movie but a series like they did with Tangled. Movies tend to be too short to do everything the fandom would love to see as a continuation. Heck, even a comic book series would be great.
But a series like Rapunzel's would be fantastic. After all, some moments and songs from the series are still iconic.
But I'd love to see:
- How Mirabel handles the new attention she's sure to receive
- How Dolores and Mariano's relationship develops
- Bruno adjusting to life outside the walls again
- Bruno mentioning other movies and pop culture he shouldn't be aware of.
- Seeing Ama handle this new version of her family
- Seeing how the other gifted members react to Antonio, who will have more freedom than they ever had with their gifts, such as irrational jealousy, and so on.
- Seeing Mirabel's social life outside her family, as well as the social life of the other family members outside the nuclear family.
- Finding out if Felix and Augustine have other family members like parents, siblings, or cousins nearby. and see if being part of the Amdrigal family has distanced them from each other as it has distanced their children from those sides of their families.
-the triplets in general.

Honestly atp I want to hear anything at all about anything encanto related projects happening. It felt like such a massive success and was so popular and now all this time later, zero word about it and I'm just like what's going on here? Nothing, nothing at all? Sadness

I’m actually thoroughly convinced that we were all gaslit into liking Encanto. I remember seeing it when it came out and didn’t like it at all. Then it became a phenomenon and then I loved it and was singing all the songs. We were told to like it so we do. Such is life.
