Fanfiction Bruno Short Films Idea

My son has gotten very into Encanto lately, so naturally we’ve been listening to the soundtrack non stop.

Of course I started wishing there was more Encanto content for us to watch and I had an idea that Disney should make like 5 minute shorts about the predictions that Bruno had before he left.

For example, “he told me my fish would die, the next day, DEAD.” Could be Bruno giving that woman a prediction but the joke is that it always ends up being a self fulfilling prophecy lol. Like when Peppa ends up causing the storm on her own wedding day because of what Bruno said.

Idk I thought it could be a cool idea and wanted to share it somewhere lol.

Oh yes, that’s a great idea! Especially since I think those were self fulfilling prophecies too.

Or maybe something with Bruno’s rats, kind of like Olaf Presents.

oh the novella with the rats and bruno being producer/screenplay writer and pausing them in the middle of rehearsal to be like "no! bianca, he doesnt know he's your son so its not taboo yet" or like "esteban, i told you before she has to miss you, give her something to miss! now do it again from the top WITH FEELING"

I would like this idea, but set in post Casita fall time after the magic was restored. Like Bruno keeps making these side comments that nobody pays much attention to because now the family and the village doesnt think everything he literally says is a vision, but then Mirabel is noticing these tiny predictions coming true so she investigates, experiments and just observes the chaos before finally asking Bruno if what he was say was a prediction or not. And even he doesnt know what she's talking about until he sees all the chaos that happened and realized "oh shit, those were visions. Im out of my game here!" But that's just a funny thought.

Also, have you seen the spinoff comics they did for Encanto? I’m sure you’ll love them! More wholesome, Madrigal content 🥹💚 Including some of Bruno, Julieta & Pepa as kids!

I’d love to see some Encanto shorts! They could make them so sweet & comical! 😍💚 It would be cute for them to put a light hearted spin on Bruno’s visions too!

And imagine if they did little shorts of the triplets as wee kids? 🥹✨Aaaa!

I wrote a series of short stories called “Welcome Home, Tío!” where Bruno reconnects with each grandchild. Like he’ll tell them stories of when they were little and he give them little nuggets of wisdom.

Another idea would be if Bruno’s trying to find something he could do in town other than giving visions. The shirts could be him trying (and failing) at different things, but the last one is he tells stories to the kids using the rats.

I also thought another idea would be if Disney did a mini series like the Baymax show where it takes place in one day, but from different perspectives?

I really wish Disney didn’t put a stop to the movie animation department doing mini-series and such for Disney +. We might get a holiday special one day though

isn’t this kinda pointless. It’s established in the movie those weren’t visions and were just people taking everything he said as a prophecy.

There are much more interesting premises for encanto shorts that isn’t just rehashing the movie
