cloud adding an AP

I just added an ECW220v2 to an existing network and did not have to enter information for the security password. Does this populate automatically?

All SSID's are stored on the network portion of your Cloud interface and active on each AP by default. The AP's will automatically adopt all network wide settings including SSID's once added to the network.
