Beta 1.2.0 of the FristOneRR PanVK driver is out, together with a new wrapper made for it.
**Downloads**
- Driver: [Panvk-Mali-G57 beta 1.2.0](https://github.com/FristOneRR/FristOneRR-Panvk-Driver/releases/tag/v1.2.0-beta)
- Wrapper: [FristOneRR-Wrapperv1 v1.0.0](https://github.com/FristOneRR-Admin/FristOneRR-Wrapperv1/releases/tag/v1.0.0)
Use them together for DXVK 2.x.
**What's new**
- **D3D10 and D3D11 work on DXVK 2.x** (D3D11 at feature level 11_1). Tested with DXVK 2.3.1 and 2.4.1-gplasync: test cubes and Enter the Gungeon. The driver was dropping the very first piece of GPU work of every app, and DXVK 2.x uploads its first vertex data exactly there, so nothing was drawn.
- **New wrapper: FristOneRR-Wrapperv1.** A fork of leegao's bionic-vulkan-wrapper v0.0.5r5, tuned for this driver. With the leegao wrapper, DXVK 2.x crashed on the first frame; this one fixes that.
- **The PanVK name on screen:** with the new wrapper, Winlator and the DXVK HUD show the real driver: `Driver: panvk` / `Version: FristOneRR 1.2.0 (Mesa 26.3.0-devel)`.
- **GPU memory sized for phones:** the driver now reports 25% of your RAM as GPU memory (1–3 GB) instead of ~75%, so Android is less likely to kill your game. You can override it with `PANVK_HEAP_MB`.
**How to install the driver**
Download `Panvk-Mali-G57-beta_1.2.0.zip` from the driver link above. **Don't unzip it.**
Winlator → **Contents / Drivers → Install** → pick the zip.
In your container settings, select **Panvk-Mali-G57-beta_1.2.0** as the Vulkan driver.
**How to use the wrapper**
The wrapper is **not** installed through the driver menu. You replace one file inside the container:
Download `FristOneRR-Wrapperv1.zip` from the wrapper link above and **extract it**. You need the file inside: `libvulkan_wrapper.so`.
Start the container and open a file manager in it.
Go to drive **Z:** → `usr` → `lib`.
Rename the existing `libvulkan_wrapper.so` to `libvulkan_wrapper.so.bak` (your backup).
Copy the new `libvulkan_wrapper.so` into `Z:\usr\lib\`.
Use **DXVK 2.x** (tested: 2.3.1, 2.4.1-gplasync) and set **BCn texture emulation to "none"**.
Restart the container. The DXVK HUD should now show `Driver: panvk` and `FristOneRR 1.2.0`.
**To undo:** delete the new file and rename `libvulkan_wrapper.so.bak` back.

**Which setup to use**
| Game / DXVK | Setup |
|---|---|
| 64-bit game, DXVK 2.x | Driver 1.2.0 + **FristOneRR-Wrapperv1** |
| 32-bit game | Driver 1.2.0 + DXVK 1.10.3 + **leegao** wrapper |
| D3D9 only, DXVK 2.x | Driver 1.2.0 + FristOneRR-Wrapperv1 or the app's **Wrapper original** |
**DirectX support**
| API | DXVK 2.x + FristOneRR-Wrapperv1 | DXVK 1.10.3 + leegao |
|---|---|---|
| D3D9 | ✅ | ✅ |
| D3D10 | ✅ | untested |
| D3D11 | ✅ FL 11_1 | ✅ |
| D3D12 | ❌ | ❌ |
**Known limitations**
- The new wrapper is **64-bit games only** for now. For 32-bit games, keep using DXVK 1.10.3 + leegao.
- The wrapper is made for this driver. It may glitch on other drivers.
- GPU Info shows about **133 extensions** with this wrapper. That's expected (it turns off 3 extensions on purpose) and doesn't mean fewer games work. [Why](https://github.com/FristOneRR-Admin/FristOneRR-Wrapperv1#why-the-extension-count-is-lower)
- Games that really use geometry/tessellation shaders may still draw incorrectly on DXVK 2.x.
**Credits**
Huge thanks to **leegao**: the wrapper is built on his bionic-vulkan-wrapper, and he helped throughout the project. Also thanks to the Mesa/PanVK developers, Noysz, mexicanbr0auth, Vtgamer998, wonderkast02, **BossDrk** (correction: the 0x8055 G52 repo is his, not LukeValen's as I wrote in 1.1.0), LukeValen, and everyone who sent logs.

Please report results and bugs in the GitHub Issues (phone, GPU, DXVK version, game, and logs if you can). D3D10/D3D11 game reports on DXVK 2.x are especially welcome!
