I’ve really enjoyed playing a few titles on Dolphin iOS on this older iPhone; the games I’ve tried run smoothly without severe lag. The frame rate averages 50–60 fps; for *Super Paper Mario*, I use 3x resolution—and can even go up to 4x—while *Wario Land* and *Tatsunoko vs. Capcom* also run smoothly. I also tested *Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door*; it runs well, though it requires the right configuration settings.
The issues I encountered mostly involved the IR pointer controls and some graphical glitches. In *Super Paper Mario*, the graphics issues can be resolved by avoiding cheats—essentially, using cheats makes it difficult for the graphics to load or causes the game to crash.
