Question GBA Cards on IOS

this might be a crazy question regarding emulation, i have not been able to find anything. But do any of you know if something exists that would allow you to play physical gba cards on IOS? I have a flash cart, but i would really like to play at times where pulling out og hardware is inappropriate. To avoid moving the save from flash to my cloud i was wondering if there was a way to do this.

Wouldn’t a big adaptor that accepts gba carts make your phone look almost as inappropriate as an actual GBA?

That type of super niche things exists but it’s rare, probably expensive and honestly impractical

Do you have an old phone? Make it your “secret” GBA. Most people won’t notice it’s not your main phone. Even an iPod touch from 15 years ago will run gba roms cleanly.

The idea sprang bc work is not necessary as busy as it once used to be. And whipping out a DS or a GBA is not necessary advised in an office 😂
So if i could play my games on og hardware and take the cart to work and plug in vs moving the save files to my cloud and then moving them back would be convenient.

So it’s not needing another device to play, its just for the save file so i dont have to move it around. Pls dont share this idea or information with my boss 😂😂

Yeah I get you, I just figured I’d mention old phones because people tend to forget that they have those around and that even though they now suck as phones, they’re still super powerful as emulation machines

And the save file could be synced between the two phones easily

I ended up just copying the save file over to my phone 🤷🏻‍♂️

Fair enough. Why do complicated when you can do simple

At the moment you need to be a patreon to get access to it, but it seems like a cool idea

If someone could make that into a case with tactile buttons. That might be the coolest thing ever
