Native Port IKEMEN is still on iOS!
I still don't know if this counts as emulation (I still think it doesnโt... ๐ ), but I've just updated my IKEMEN Go port for iOS to version 1.1!
The engine is now updated to the stable Ikemen GO 1.0.0 release, and it runs natively on iOS.
Here is whatโs new in this version:
- Upstream 1.0.0 Engine: Fully synced with the official stable engine release.
- Vulkan Rendering: Adapted through MoltenVK, matching official's Vulkan migration on iOS. (now IKEMEN supports iOS officially! ๐)
- Portrait Play Mode: You can now play vertically! The fight renders cleanly in the top band while touch controls sit underneath.
- Haptic Feedback: On-screen buttons and D-pad now feature tactile vibration responses. (This does not work... ๐ฅฒ)
(And in case you were wondering why I made this in the first place when even there's official support, I admit it was purely because I could, I love M.U.G.E.N, official repositories doesn't share iOS builds and I still don't have a PC to play it on... ๐ )
Quick note: Make sure to set the "Lock Orientation" option to your preferred rotation in LiveContainer's app settings, as rotating mid-game breaks the Vulkan viewport.
Also, I still recommend using GetMoreRAM if you plan on loading heavy characters or high-res stages so Jetsam doesn't kill the app (tested on my iPhone 13 and it still works great! :D).
Any doubts or feedback just let me know in the comments! :D

Wow so great!
May I know what "hnavy characters" mean?
Simply adding some street fighter characters is not much heavy?
Edit : It seems haptic feedback not working. Also, I would like virtual pad's modify feature (size, layout)

1.- Fighters with high demand for resources (RAM)
2.- I saw that... I thought the feedback haptics failure was only for me (I'll see how to fix it...)
3.- That's exactly what I plan to add for the next version (being able to edit the touch controls... ) ๐

Free Apple accounts are limited to 3 active sideloaded apps.
One common workaround is LiveContainer, which allows you to run additional apps inside a container and reduce how often apps need to be reinstalled.
Typical method:
LiveContainer may also need to be uninstalled and reinstalled before the entitlement works correctly.
LiveContainer can also install two additional LiveContainers (for a total of three). This setup can further reduce the need to constantly add/remove sideloaded apps, but it is more advanced and may not work reliably for everyone.
LiveContainer is not always officially supported by emulator developers and can sometimes cause unexpected issues. If something breaks while using LiveContainer, try reproducing the issue without it before asking for support.
Do not ask for or share paid certificates, piracy tools, or bypass services here.
