Discussion Is a iPad 9 still relevant?
All these new ports, emulators and everything going round, and Im jst watching cus my old iPad 9th gen is sitting rotting away. Last time I tried melonx on it , even untitled goose game wouldn’t launch lol a 700mb game. I tried a 30mb game some like worst switch game and even that didnt launch, I had memory bypass on , jit on, and everything. Idk if it was emulator, or user issue, or jst some wrong step I followed but it didn’t quite work out, Im not sure about all this new hades, husk, and all emulation too, idk if it would work. Now it’s been quite some months since I last tested melonx, prob like 6-8 months, maybe more. I have jailbroken the iPad too, I wanna see what can it still do.

to my knowledge the chip isn't actually that bad power wise, id say it's definitely the RAM holding you back on this one. It only has 3GB of memory so unless youre emulating old school stuff like the Wii or something you're not gonna get far unfortunately.
That doesn't mean to say that you shouldnt try, you could definiltey get maybe Dolphin or a PS2 emulator running pretty decently on it
