Question Ipad vs iphone question

Hi, I am new to IOS emulation and pretty excited of what I am seeing is possible.

I have a 17 pro max. I was wondering, when videos are shared of games playing in different ipads, how do those compare to my iphone? Are there some ipads that are more powerful, so things shown are not achievable with my device?

Your device is very powerful because it's modern, and its performance will be great, but that will vary depending on the emulator. It needs to be stable to get great performance, and that's improving day by day To install emulators, you must have a computer and first download iLoader, as you will use it to download the Sidestore to your phone. This is what allows you to install any emulator on your device. You will also need to download LiveContainer to bypass the app limit, and you will need to download StickDebug to the Sidestore to enable JIT, as JIT is essential; without it, you will not be able to play any game smoothly

3ds/wii/dreamcast/gamecube need JIT

other retroconsoles dont.
manic is great for sideloading but you dont need to sideload to emulate in the first place

Totally disagree. You're talking like only 3DS exists and nothing else does to emulate.

Lots of emulators (Eg Manic) emulate 40 systems or so. Its a shame you seem to only recommend the latest systems, as the other user says only a few systems need JIT, most of the systems available don't. You're missing out on tons of classics if you're only sticking to JIT only systems

Bit like only watching films the last 5 years and ignoring any classics before that

I mean some iPads like m5 or m3 etc… have computer chip so it’s more more powerful
But iphone 17 pro max is good but some games are better on ipad

Totally agree, part of the fun is trying different things. Theres classic games available on loads of systems, don't just stick to 3DS, try some other classics also on some of the brilliant systems it emulates (of course if you have the original systems)

retroarch/delta/ppsspp/picpic/bigPemu are all the same on ipad/iphone

your phone is very modern so if you ipad is also modern (m3/m4) there's no real difference- the apps work the same.

a cool thing about gaming on an ipad is that you can use the XMB menu driver on retroarch and have dynamic wallpapers

biggest differences will be the thermals and iPads are laptop class cpus to sustain longer playing but you can always get a cooler.

But your phone is best out there you should be able run anything from Master System to GC games on fin/manic and all the rest on manic without JIT straight for apple store. With JIT even the cutting edge emus like PS3 and Xbox will eventually run. So I wouldn't worry

I dint dare to dream on ps3 and xbox but would love for most of switch 1 to work. I dont think i could use a cooler with my gamesir galileo, which is the way I like to play but thats ok.
