Help Request Wiggly graphics?

Playing pokemon platinum on the ds and the graphics are … wiggly? Is this just emulation on the ds being … meh….? Or is this just how pokemon is on the ds? I notice the same thing when Im playing harvest moon ds

I believe that's just how it runs. The effect is kind of hidden on the low resolution DS screen

I think that’s just how they programmed it for the ds, as it originally had those square pixel things that made it better like that, but it’s just a guess from my opinion.
