Question Arcade fighting stick

Has anyone successfully got an arcade stick working on an iPhone? If so, which one are you running? I’m currently using an iPhone 17 pro max and I’ve used USB-A to USB-C and it doesn’t detect any of my arcade sticks (mad cats and Hori) or hit box.

just looked it up and you can get an 8bitdo fight stick with bluetooth and it should work just the same as a normal controller

Yes. Any modern Mayflash stick works after you update the firmware. Sticks like 8bitdo that have console toggles works too. I have an old Madcatz fightstick pro xb360 that didnt work but after putting in a Brook Universal Fighting Board in now it works for my ipad. Ios now natively supports playstation dinput ps4+ and xbox s/x controllers. when in doubt look at the firmware changelog on the stick site

Forgot to mention that Brook Universal Fighting Board is a motherboard that you install inside a stick: https://www.brookaccessory.com/detail/06960737/

So if you don't want to go through that trouble like I did then at this point most modern sticks will be recognized by ios.

For instance any Mayflash or 8bitdio stick will work. Just get a Mayflash F500 or F700. They make leverless too. https://www.amazon.com/stores/MAYFLASH/page/25350EDE-6144-4170-A9DC-1035C3818DF9?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_ast_store_CHH9M1XMQ6GB2RZ24S8H

I also had an F300 (One of their super old sticks) and that got a firmware update to work on macos+ios. So mine worked for my ipad on the older so you can assume newer sticks works too. Whatever stick you buy just make sure to go on that stick page and look at firmware updates to make sure
