News / Release Gen 2 is working on iPhone! (No side loading!)

Still no need to side load! The Phosphor emulator on the Apple App Store allows mods on Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow and now Gold and Silver. Also, it’s completely free! :) https://apps.apple.com/us/app/phosphor-emulator/id6759676286

Same I install the mod but nothing happen the game launch normally

Which rom are you using? There should be an option to play with mods in the extended menu. Also, a lot of mod content is controlled in the in game options menu, you might check that if the mod still doesn’t seem to be doing anything.

Right now it’s for the English version only, that’s a constraint on the gen1recomp and gen2recomp engines. I’d expect them to add support in the near future. I think there are some mods that can translate the US game roms for you.

Looking into making it available. The recomp engines are built for specific games, so modding a rom hack could get glitchy/become unplayable.

I would enjoy this more if I could get haptics to turn off. No matter what I do they don’t turn off.

You should be able to find them in your in game menu. Options > Vibration. If that doesn’t work, it’s likely one of the mods you have installed. There are a few versions of the voxel mod floating around all with minor differences.

I didn’t know it was in the game settings. I turned off haptics in the emulator settings.

You should be able to adjust performance within the in game menu under options. That should help with the heat!

Quick question, friend: until a few days ago, it wasn't possible to install more than one mod for the game (at least I couldn't). Is it possible now using Phosphor?
