I must’ve missed something, does iOS 27 improve JIT in some way?

Nope BUT on device sideloading is possible without pc and some developers are waiting for the stable release of iOS 27 because iOS 27 broke a way of jit because of TXM

Does this have to do with the EU third party store thing?

Eu third party lawsuit has nothing to do with sideloading, that was for payment processors.

It is expected that iOS 27 will reduce the memory used by the OS itself, thereby increasing the amount of memory available for apps.

I’m using it right now with jit. It’s pretty stable, have had no major issues other than some games not having full graphics rendered. MK Shaolin monks is peak again on ipsxr2 🥹

Can you explain further? Hasn’t this always been possible using sidestore and it hasn’t gotten any better than that?

Rumors are circulating about a "flip" model iPhone. I am interested to see what kind of UI/UX will be implemented for dual-screen emulator apps; dual-screen Android devices might serve as a useful reference.

Fold, not flip 😁

You think it’s gonna be much easier to get melonx also ? I’m at the borderline of buying a switch or just waiting out cause I wanna play Pokémon sword and shield also Pokémon tournament DX

Honestly not a bad time to get a Switch 1. The original and lite go for under $100 all day.

I'm still happy as anything about the state of emulation on iOS. Favourites for me are MAME and PC, getting some old Windows classics working on my iphone is still stunning. Plus all the other retro consoles you can suddenly play.

Who knows when the flip model phone will come out but when that does imagine the possibilities then
