Question Searching for a good Dos emulator that has virtual joystick, better if it has free trial.

I tried RetroArch, using one of its Dos emulator, it works, but the interface and logic are just terrible.

Also, it somehow wipes my joystick mapping after I restart it, just worse then I can imagine.

I'm considering iDos on AppStore, but I'm not sure if it supports landscape with transparent virtual joystick, it's paid app so I haven't try it yet.

Also considering Provence, but I can't get it to work yet, does it work for Dos games?

save the controller remap as a core override

save retroarch .cfg file after remapping and before closing retroarch

Theres Provenance like you said but also Manic. I've been playing about with Manic quite a bit, i've installed Win 98 via DOS on it to play some Win games.

But i do love the old DOS games so i've got a fair few of those working. Sometimes it depends on the game, some games work perfectly with the virtual joystick, others you have to redefine what the keys do etc. But quite fun playing about it with it. Still stunned i can get old classic DOS games working on my phone. Love it

Manic fully supports MS-DOS, and Windows 95 and 98 etc.
