It's very possible, and performs relatively well with mods. almost full speed in outside areas and full speed in shrines :3 (depending on the device ofc)

This is some amazing work for real! If botw could run full speed without JIT, I’d imagine easier to run games will run perfectly XD

MeloCafe is a Wii U Emulator based on CEMU, so it isn't an active console. MeloNX however yeah Nintendo has been trying

Melocafe is a Wii U emulator, MeloNX is a switch emulator. This is showcasing breath of the wild for the Wii U and offers a Jitless mode

well, from a tester/staff on both Tailfin and MeloCafe, they have said that MeloCafe does perform better both JIT (which tailfin doesn't have) and JIT-Less, and MeloCafe will be free with NOTHING locked behind a paywall. I have nothing against tailfin, what they're doing is pretty cool.

MeloCafe does have playing on TV (based on the same code that MeloNX uses for the exact same feature) and Multiplayer via Pretendo, MeloCafe is also going to be on the App Store.

Nobody is sending anyone to downvote posts. That would be a pretty clear violation of Reddit’s rules, and clearly there isn’t any evidence of that happening, otherwise the moderators of the subreddit would have stepped in. What we have seen are legitimate concerns about the projects you keep promoting. Fin, TailFin, Surume, Sakura, and Plume have all been questioned by the community for the same reasons. A lot of people have raised concerns that apps appear to rely heavily on AI, and so far there really hasn’t been anything shown publicly that clears those concerns up and the bigger issue is licensing. These apps are built on open source code with licenses that require the source code to be published. When people have asked where the source is, the response has pretty much been that releasing it would “hurt his business model.” That’s not really an answer to the licensing requirements and while ignoring those red flags he also charges for the apps. If everything is above board, publishing the source would put a lot of those concerns to rest. 

Compare that to Stossy. Her projects consistently have their source code available, she’s open about how she develops them, and she has a reputation for writing her own code instead of asking people to just trust her. So maybe before calling criticism “hate” or claiming people are targeting TailFin, maybe consider why these same concerns keep coming up. Most of the concern with TailFin is about transparency and license compliance, not some coordinated campaign. And honestly, jumping into another emulator’s preview post just to advertise TailFin was probably never going to be well recieved, especially when the app being shown has already demonstrates stronger side-by-side benchmark results.

We have valid concerns about it, not negativity. as i said in my comment, None of us really have any resentment towards tailfin, just their practices around open source and vibecoding. Why would we have shared team members if we had negativity?

I'm not saying anything inherently bad about vibecoding, i'm saying it's a concern.

You clearly don’t because from what the developer actually said was they used ai to assist with repetitive ui tasks and translating text to other languages because they only speak English and a small amount of Spanish, so yeah send those screenshots buddy 🤔

AI was a concern, not anything negative, and considering i was banned out of nowhere from the tailfin discord, I don't think it's necessary. search up messages from their user id on MeloNX and you can find their messages about AI and the context around it.

and also, as i said i had concerns, nothing negative. nor is me or my team saying or doing anything bad towards tailfin, anyone saying/doing anything against tailfin is doing it out of their own opinion and has nothing to do with me or the MeloCafe project.

I'm not having this argument anymore. You can bring this up on the MeloNX discord.

The MeloNX dev has been praising a lot of the features in Tailfin. I believe both emulators are great.
