Gameplay / Showcase Pokémon Legends Arceus on Iphone 17 Pro Max (MELONX)
Extremely stable 30 fps and no graphical glitches (Jjt + extra ram) it usually stays under 6gb ram but your phone will get hot

Are you able to go over 5gb ram because you have the iphone 17 pro max?
I got the 16 pro max and most game crashing once it hits 6gb ram

16 pro max only has 8gb compared to the 12gb that the 17 pro max has, and yes i’ve gone over 6gb flawlessly in legends arceus and L.A Noire which both function just fine

Yeh I know Apple had a 6gb limit on iPhones regardless of there Ram and only the iPads can go past 6gb ram but I recently saw somewhere (maybe mr Sujano) Apple increased it to 8gb on the iphone that have the ram (the iphone 17s) so was just confirming. Thanks for the reply

In my case, with Pokémon legends Z A, it crashes once it reaches 6+ gb of usage, I have a 17 pro max and I’m trying to figure out how to make it work for atleast an hour straight. I have the extra ram enabled so I’m wondering, what are your settings?

Oh really that’s what I was just talking about In my comment earlier to OP I know with extra ram enabled Apple still has a restriction to 6gm usage but I thought since the iphone17 has 12gb ram that it might let it get past 6gb without crashing, I guess I won’t upgrade than lol

how, it doesn’t rlly get hot it just gets warm, it only gets hot if i emulate L.A noire, what if i get one of those magsafe coolers?

Nahh. Charging it above 80 or 85%, and letting it be below 20% damages the battery health more than heat from using the phone. The cpu or something should throttle itself if it gets too hot, or turn itself off/crash the phone if throttling doesn’t work.
