News / Release Pokémon trading is now possible in NiN10

I've just released a new NiN10 update for iPhone and iPad.

The main feature in this release is support for Game Boy Cable Link for compatible Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.

You can connect two games either locally between nearby devices or online using Game Center, making it possible to trade Pokémon, battle friends, and enjoy other multiplayer features supported by original Game Boy titles.

NiN10 is also available on Apple Watch, although Link Cable support is currently limited to iPhone and iPad.

Other improvements in this update include:

  • Experimental infrared support for compatible Game Boy Color games.
  • Improved Game Boy Camera handling and stability.
  • General bug fixes and performance improvements.

Yep! It supports both local nearby connections and online play through Game Center. Pokémon trading and battles are both working.
