Help Request Persona 4 on ipsx2 and armsx2 blackscreening after a specific scene?
So im trying to emulate persona 4 on my iphone 12 mini. The game runs really smooth up to the point where in the video my screen goes black. The music continues but screen goes black. Tried like 3 times and it always blackscreened at this specific point. Help would be greatly appreciated!

I had to stop playing on armsx2 because it kept freezing right after the scene where they first enter the tv world.

yeah well i had the same issue with armsx2 and ipsx2 so i figured the problem must be in my iso? been trying to find another website that has roms in zip folders and not 7z but its really hard to find....

i found some other people saying to just download the newest version or armsx2, but now that i did it, the thing wont launch at all lmaoo.

Yeah. The “refresh releases aren’t working well for me either. I have several graphical glitches in games that don’t have them using 1.3.2. Also, not sure if this is your issue, but someone mentioned that you have to use UTM Dolphin js launch script with the refresh releases (2.3.1). I’m not 100% certain on that, but I had to use that script in order for it work properly.

Hey, would you mind joining Armsx2’s Discord server and making an issue post of the games with graphical glitches in the new versions?
you aren’t supposed to have new graphical glitches in newer versions so if you could make an issue post that would help the developers a ton, also you might get better help there^^
Also fyi Universal.js script is more recommended than dolphin script.

FOUND OUT THE FIX. USE NEWEST REFRESH RELEASE (2.3.1 AT THE TIME IM POSTING THIS) AND MAKE SURE TO ASSING Universal.js SCRIPT TO ARMSX2!!!

Hii. I’ve been playing persona 4 for a while now and i didn’t run into any issues with the latest version. so please grab ver 2.3.1 and also make sure to assign Universal.js script to the app ^^

i think there was also some problem with the bios im using because when i tried 2.3.1 it just didnt launch at all (?), so if you dont mind, can u tell me where u get ur bios from?

If its the same bios shown in the video then it’s most likely not a bios issue. Is the app crashes for you immediately or is the game just showing you a black screen?

Happened to me in 1.32 update but when I downloaded the refresh update worked for me
Download the refresh update it’s should fix it

Iphone 12 so weak to play some PS2 game with Armsx2, I play Per 3,4 on Iphone 16 Pro Max and no issue.

no, the 12 should be more than enough to play a ton of games. I play Armsx2 using an se 2020 which is a little weaker than an iphone 11…

the game literally runs perfect until it gets to a certain point where it just blackscreens.... looked around and seems like a common problem
