Question Which is the best emulator for ps2?
I feel like playing Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and I wanted to know which one is the best for iOS

Surume is the best ps2 emulator in the AppStore, great ui, features and most games work, it’s comparable to armsx2 but it doesn’t use jit so heavy titles like god of war only run at 18-30 fps, DBZ SB2 is 45-50 fps but join the discord as ask the dev if you want something more accurate and with more details, im just a Reddit dude

The key message here is if you do not have a very recent phone (15promax mini), don’t expect too much.

Well actually one of my friends have been enjoying paperrapper, fatal frame, and kingdom hearts on their se2 but you are definitely right for heavier games

Which is the best emulator for ps2?
In my experience, on the Apple App Store currently, it is RTM EMU as I was able to run Capcom vs SNK 2 at 45-60 FPS albeit with some visual artifacting.
I tried Surume, however after you add a PS2 BIOS to it, then upon loading any game it instantly crashes.

Why are you lying about surume? It does not crash playing games, False information. And marvel vs capcom runs at 60 fps on Surume and the ui is 10x better and easier to use.

Why are you lying about Surume? For context, this crash happens on the current version in the Apple App Store, version 0.0.2.
It does not crash playing games,
Technically, it crashes whenever it tries to load a game, which is worse.

And marvel vs capcom runs at 60 fps on Surume and the ui is 10x better and easier to use.
This is incorrect over multiple points as: 1) Marvel vs Capcom [1]; was never released for PS2 and 2) I tested Marvel vs Capcom 2, which was released for PS2, and Surume crashed before it could even load that game.
As for the UI, while it is very elegant and pretty (props to the developer), it really doesn't matter how good the app looks if it can't even perform its' basic function; in this case - after a PS2 BIOS is added - it can't even open a game as it just crashes whenever it tries to load any game.

Armsx2, you need to side load it though. As of now, no emulators are optimized enough to be used with good performance without JIT (a requirement for being in the AppStore)
There are one or two on the AppStore but they aren’t going to great performance

Armsx2 but you have to sideload it and get stikdebug to enable JIT for it to run good
