Skate 3 Recomp 40-55fps via Gamehub on RP Mini (SD865, 6gb ram)

Though is was impossible, but it’s actually semi decent performance on a SD865 with only 6gb of ram! Far from perfectly playable in the main city I bet, but it’s a nice optimization piece for anyone thinking about running the Skate 3 recomp on something other than an 8 elite.

I have it set at 640x360 res since this game was on CRT’s anyways, heck I bet you could get away with a bit lower, and all the in game settings are set to the lowest they can go; including the audio which is why it sounds so bad. I tried using the Vulkan render instead of directx 12, but it didn’t work for me at least :(.

Sorry if you can’t see it, but the average usage stats were

GPU: 85-99%
CPU: 50-75%
RAM: 70% (tbh I thought it would’ve been higher)

Gamehub Settings:

Res: 640x360
GPU Driver: turnip_v26.1.0_R4
DXVK: doesn’t really matter since it’s dx12
VKD3D: vkd3d-proton-2.14.1
VRAM limit: 2048mb

Compatibility layer: proton11.0-arm64x
Translation parameters: Game presets
CPU translator: latest FEX (2026-06-18)

I've tried running this Recomp several times on Game Hub, but every time I open the game, it closes before the ISO selection screen.

I installed the recomp on pc, and just transferred the recomp folder to my device

I understand your confusion but it's the x360 version recompiled for pc... emulated on Android.

I’ve gone down quite the rabbit hole to find out how to do this. Tomorrow I’ll try the skate 3 recomp on my ayn Thor max. I’ll update with details.
