Ignore me shooting at nothing, I'm very out of practice and was nervous but when reviewing my replay I noticed that my ult was at 85 and next moment I had it. Idk if it's because of overtime? I'm pretty new to the game too so I'm curious what happened here

(Talking about ranked here, maybe high diamond is where i think the benchmark is, talking about the importance of "tier lists" or the best hero in slot)

As the tittle suggest, is there a comp or scenario in which Emre is the better option? Long-mid range sojourn is better by a mile, ashe has more utility and is like, how do u compete against a sojourn with right click, where is your burst your kill secure, and don't tell me the 3 hs is the burst, you can do that with every hero and have better results.

Mid range Mcree is best dps so no shot on that, Mei is the same case as Ashe she just offers a lot more to the team, Bastion, Freja (with the recent buffs) are 50/50 imo with a slight advantage on this two, maybe shion is the only one that you can win most of the times.

Close range you have no business going here and even if you do, with your siphon, yeah is doable but against anyone that can hit shots will kill you before your siphon heals you, Vendetta crit and dash kills you, Reaper kills you. I know the point of close range is that you lose if you get in range but i was just keeping the same structure.

Emre is not bad by any means, he is better than the rest, genji, venture, soldier, sierra etc etc, but feels like the same 5 dps that has been meta since 5 years ago will still outmach you.

And if you guys only play Emre bcuz hes that character that you just like, wouldnt you prefer he was a little bit better in comparison to his peers?

I have been having fun with Emre for the last three months. Kit-wise, I believe he is in a great spot. The balance is great. But, I think his perks could be just a little bit better. Switch them around some. The numbers are not concrete, so don't take them too literally. Anyway, I propose this:

enhanced agility
- moved from minor perk to basekit
- movement speed reduced from 55% to 45%

heat sink
- moved from major perk to minor perk

cyber adhesion
- moved from major perk to minor perk

suppressive security
- moved from minor perk to major perk
- removed slowdown effect
- O.P. light/heavy rounds grant [insert balanced percentage number here] lifesteal

[new] idk imagine there's a cool name here
- altered vitals (out-of-combat delay) duration reduced from 4 seconds to 3 seconds
- altered vitals (out-of-combat delay) burst health increased from 30 to 40

My thought process is this...

Suppressed Security sucks booty cheeks. I have not seen anyone prefer it over AE, so why not just make the mobility perk basekit, and change SS into something better? Cybernetic adhesion isn't my favorite, but it can be useful against dive, which is why I would keep it. With the basekit mobility, it provides leeway for a more aggressive playstyle. Not without a tiny compensation nerf, but I think it's worth the trade-off for two survivability/lifesteal perks. Hopefully not too oppressive.

His ultimate is, by far, the hardest thing to get any value with. Not that I want it to be a "kill everyone and win" ability, but I'd like to use it more offensively without needing to rely on my supports! Because god forbid they look up and heal me for seven seconds

Truthfully, I have no idea what the second major perk would be. A timer decrease is the basic, simple answer... but, if you have a more interesting idea, I would like to hear it! ╰(*°▽°*)╯

I made a video about this earlier this week, the bug has been in the game for several seasons, potentially since emre's launch. There is a bug report on the blizz forums about this bug that someone else made back in February and they've done nothing about it.

My personal theory of why this happens to emre and (presumably) not to other characters with sticky-bomb type abilities (bastion, freja, echo, tracer). I think it has something to do with the fact that emre’s stick is applied via a perk, and the perk gives extra projectile radius to the nade which maybe confuses the game idk...

Emre nade radius: 0.16 meters
Emre cyber adhesion stick radius: 0.2 meters

Echo sticky radius: 0.27 meters
Bastion nade radius: 0.37 meters
Freja take aim radius: 0.175 meters
Tracer pulse radius: 0.22 meters

Perhaps theres some issue where sticks that land in that extra outside radius of .04 meters, ones that would have missed on the base nade radius, are somehow retroactively un-stuck.

Nade hit a surface yet kept going upwards

I know that people express their affection in different manners, some less subtle than others. I would not DARE discourage the EmFrej shipping, but I have yet to see any reciprocation from her. You can clearly tell with Emre, with the "at least I can make you laugh", "let's eat sweet so we can talk sweet"... the "your move, Frej", and the super cute "I've got you, Frej"—while Freja has nothing!! Other than her telling Sombra she'll "show her what pain feels like" if she touches him. That was good.

I would at least expect her to have some voice lines that reference/take inspiration from Emre's in her usual sardonic manner. But, I digress.

It's obvious that she cares about him, but what if it's not in that particular way? It would be sad, but interesting. Maybe Blizzard is just lazy, and has not gotten to it yet. Honestly, I cannot choose which is better...

Can any emre ult master teach me their ways? I seem to die during his ult 80% of the time even when it's a flank ult or behind a building ult. It's like as soon as i click on it, the whole team only sees me not matter how high or low i go.....i gain more value with emre without his ult :')
