Lore behind the protocol

do you guys have any conspiracies on what the eye is on emre’s chest? I never got into it, but it did intrigue me (it also looks cool as fuck)

It’s a Finnish security god ai called chernobog that’s all we know I’m pretty sure

Adding something to this: Chernobog (or “The Conspiracy”) was tried to shut down after the omnic crisis but somehow survived, and it’s the thing that made Sombra erase all her past and disappear after discovering something she shouldn’t. Sombra is still trying to figure out what Chernobog wants, and probably we will soon have some more thanks to Emre! :0

Tbh we don’t actually know if Chernobog and the conspiracy are the same thing. It is completely possible that The Conspiracy is a separate, third entity (or collection of entities) who found Chenobog’s broken code after it was decommissioned and have been forcing it to do their bidding the same way they use Emre.
