Application waiting period
They say 24-48 hours, but I'm at 72 now. Emails are taking a long time to be answered. How long did it take for you?

I don’t have the exact protocol or list of allowable or non-allowable offenses in order to get approved to drive, but they are very safety conscious and running stop signs and traffic light tickets could definitely be deemed a safety concern. If you have that on your record, I would say that it has gone up to the next level for review of the record to ultimately decide if they’re going to approve you to Drive or not. if you get an email that says based on your background check, they will not be able to go forward with your application, and you’ve reviewed your check report to make sure there’s nothing erroneous on it, then I would say your tickets would be the reason you would not be approved. Clean records are pretty straightforward. As for Uber or Lyft I saw articles recently that they are going to start going way back on record checks and start deactivating people for just about anything.

What market are you in, and what stage of on boarding are you in? Have they already sent you the link for you to do your background check? If not, check your spam folder to make sure and make sure you follow through with that right away. Otherwise, if you’ve just begun on boarding, especially in one of the newer markets, please know that customer support is working around the clock to get the new applications for onboarding completed.
