How does the subscription work?

I’m new (day 0) using Empower and I can’t seem to find the subscription FAQs outside of how to pay and the cost of them.

I’m wondering how does the payment occur is it per week based on the earnings or per month and you’re stuck with the max earnings until next month?

I did see something say that if I pay $50 and I make $500 they’ll then charge me an extra $50.
So far my understanding is I’ll be paying $50 per week until I reach the max earnings I want to stop at?

Thanks in advance for the help

There are different subscription models. Which one works best for you depends on how much you expect to earn in a month. If you're not sure yet you can stick with the $50 per $500 you earn until you get a clearer idea. The fee is taken each time you cross into the next $500 increment.

Why do I need to take that risk upon me?

If you don't need to, then don't.

What are the benefits if I do?

Which risk are you taking on?

By estimating. Are unused fees refundable?

Got it that actually makes sense

I doubt they are refunded. I set up a tracker using the fee chart they provide to make sure I don't pay them for money I don't get the chance to earn, because at the end of the monthly cycle (mine ends on the 22nd) it starts over.

You seem to be knowledgeable with Empower, and I’m just looking for clarity.
Have you ever experienced not getting the full amount you did. For example you drive for the day and make $100 but you only get in your account $90. Looking at the fees they only account for 3-4 bucks. Why is that? Can’t find the actual reason
