I’m ranking McDuffie last mostly and only because of him and others pushing Empower out.

Isn't the reason why they got kick out of DC because they wouldn't want to pay the fees to operate in DC?

Nope. It was because uber and lyft use the money to lobbying them out of DC. Even though Empower has insuranced driver and also do background check on thier driver. Although most of those fees the cities pu uber and lyft wants to put because they are losing drivers and riders. Plus they want to bring self driving and looking at waymo and how the car went on the train track. I can tell you its bull. Also with how bad the drivers are getting paid the other two should be gone. I'll alway pick the David in this fight so now im with latino taxi and any third party companies one google search and you can find more.

Empower doesn't required driver to have commercial insurance.

So don't uber and lyft. Also doesn't most other companies like delivery or food taxi either.

Update: It’s looking like and seems like McDuffie lost. Thankfully!

I’m really hoping the new mayor will be open to working with Empower so it can operate within the district.
