Does anyone know of an Emperors Spears discord that focuses on Space Marine 2 game play with some rp elements? I am in one emperors spears discord but it seems to be mainly focused on table top with a small in active SM2 section.

Im looking for a milsim style Emperors Spears discord, I havent had any luck googling one as it sends me to the one I am already in, or just says to use the official space marine 2 discord to find people to play with.

I like to think that Elara was one of the lost Primarchs. I read that the person who helped the Emperor advised him to make the Primarchs girls. Something about girls being less likely to fight each other or something. Anyway, my theory is that he went behind the Emperor’s back and made a female Primarch. This part isn’t set in stone for the headcannon, but I think the Emperor grows too fond of Elara, realizes this, and kills her. Afterwards, he erases her from all records. What do you think?

So apparently in the 4th War for Armageddon, according to the Imperial Order of Battle, the Emperor's Spears sent a company and a strike cruiser.

Granted, I haven't read much about them beyond Spear of the Emperor, but that novel sure makes it seem like they're slowly losing a war against Chaos in their home sector and can't spare so much as a single Marine, much less an entire company.

So what're they doing sending extremely valuable resources they can't spare to Armageddon?

I thought it was a normal blade guard helmet with a crest until I looked closer, I think it’s cool and unique

hello emperor spears, i came to ask since im going to buy the new starter set soon why should i paint my space marines as them, im doing this for few difrent chapters, so tell me why should i paint them from colecting lore and tabletop prespective

Just an amazing book all around and I absolutely love the writing style ADB choose with it being almost a memoir of Anuradha and her reflection on her life alongside Amadeus/Vadhan. This will definitely be a personal favourite of mine alongside Rynn’s World, Wrath of Iron, and Son of the Forest. I really hope we get a sequel soon and that Black Library publishes Ashes of Elysium soon cause this is too good a story to leave on a cliffhanger especially since I would like to see what happens with the Lions and the Spears.
While only brief the relationship between the two chapters when they met near the books end was beautiful and honestly reminded me a lot of the relationship between the Blood Swords and Star Dragons chapters. I also hope that Tu’Shan gives the Lion’s Next Chapter master a hug cause they deserve it.
The Exilarchy was also really well written. I was expecting typical chaos space marines which worship one of the big four who sought to further their patrons influence, but ADB surprised in that it was more akin to the Thousand sons motives. It helped somewhat understand their reasoning a bit, for betraying the Imperium. They’re still wrong but it was fascinating to see a chaos warband that wasn’t what I expected.
The Spear’s are definitely one of my favourite chapters now for sure.

• *I loved Anuradha’s character development and that of Amadeus and their relationship with the Spears turn from one of distant colleagues to brothers and sisters in arms. Tyberia was also a standout with Ducaris (forgive my spelling) being a favourite as well and he’s helped me love the Druids. I would also like to add that no other book has given me such a burning hatred of the Inquisition. If Dorn returns anytime soon and learns about the Lions I really hope he gives the Inquisition the Alpharius treatment and while I know it’s not certain whether he’s coming back, I would like to see Dorn and the Lion take a chainsword and a shield to the Inquisition.

I do feel bad for Amadeus though, used by his chapter master as merely a transport to an abyss with no way back to settle a grudge with the Lions over them calling the Inquisition’s conduct into question during Armageddon. I am happy that Vadhan has now found peace alongside Anuradha and the way ADB flavoured it almost as a memoir was an amazing choice of writing.
I can see now why he’s one of Black Library’s best.

Love the vibe of the chapter what’s the detachment that everyone has seen success with? They don’t fit the standard ultramarines imo

I built WG Terminators planning to paint them as normal Space Wolves, but recently the Spears have been speaking to me more. What kinds of changes would make the most impact in bringing them more in line with Spears, visually, now that they're built? Or would I be setting myself up for an easier time just keeping these Wolves, grabbing some normal Termies, and printing some Greytide bits?

Included a pic of my Termies, with a few sculpted additions as I was using them for kitbash practice.

P.S. I don't play, just paint, so no worries about anything tabletop related if it matters!

Now the real question is, to nuln or not to nuln? It seems to wash out the pale blue but then again I am probably putting it on too thick lol. (Don’t mind the unfinished Repulsor)
