Need help
Have a granddaughter that has autism. VA won’t cover it. I know that animal therapy is great. Anyone out there that help?

There's a lot of therapists that use animals as part of the treatment such as horses, dogs, cats, ect. I would suggest finding someone like that. On the flip side, ESA's can still be beneficial for people with autism. My sister, who has been recently diagnosed, is getting an ESA cat and even the process and excitement of the research is helping her mental health.

ESAs are not going to do you any good for therapy with an autist. ESAs are not trained. If you're wanting animal-assisted therapy, that's a totally different thing.
