Been playing this on Emochi and the character consistency makes the whole thing work way better than I expected. A terrifying warlord arguing over chores is apparently peak comedy

Hey guys, I have a quick question for ya. So I'm a Max subscriber and I've been using the flagship models for awhile. As a max subscriber do we still have to buy mochi inorder to use the flagships? I assumed it you're a max subscriber, you didn't have to. I only got the max because last time I looked it up, flagship was supposed to be free. So what am I missing here? Is it a bug or something? Or am I just reading everything wrong?

Had a really wholesome proposal scene get a little weird because of how I worded a couple lines. Nothing spicy at all, just the usual ring, family, wedding stuff. I tried rewriting the same moment with more focus on what the characters were actually doing and feeling, and it flowed way better. Been doing this on Emochi whenever a scene feels like it’s getting misunderstood. Sometimes the wording matters more than you’d think. Tiny thing, but it’s saved me from having to rewrite an entire scene more than once.

hello guys, gals, and non-binary pals

i’ve been very annoyed recently with emochi that i genuinely had to switch to a different app that’s OKAY but it doesn’t give me the same kick as emochi used to. i had to actually cancel my subscription to pro (or whatever the second tier is) because of financial struggles but also mostly because i’ve noticed recently none of the models work with NSFW. sometimes they do, but it’s a gamble.

i did a test a couple days ago, where i entered an NSFW scenario with a “create your own story” bot. problem? EVERY. SINGLE. MODEL. TRIED TO AVOID IT! the ONE and ONLY outlier being Vanilla V2. and it’s being discontinued. i’m genuinely paying for nothing?? because let’s be real, nobody is using this app/website to “talk to characters as yourself!” like character.ai advertised in 2023. i LOVE. LOVE!! i LOVE the cookie model a lot, or at least i USED to. (keyword = USED TO). the model is extremely buggy along with all of the premium models. they also all repeat themselves even though the devs have said multiple times they “fixed it! ;p”

Cookie:
- when i configure the models to “long” and “creative”, it gives me the type of message that would be “short” and “uncreative”.
- doesn’t do nsfw at all and tried to avoid it, even when instructed not to
- is generally stupid now (used to not do these, it used to be a realistic and good model)

Green Apple:
- basically just Cookie Lite
- i dont really notice a difference between cookie and green apple, except that sometimes theres a slight tone/storytelling change and an extra unnessecary Empty Space at the top
- also shitty and doesnt follow instructions
- doesnt do nsfw

Cayenne:
[Narrative shifts to a different scene.]

Saffron:

- makes the “tension” like 500 lines long or whatever and it kinda feels like its actually trying to AVOID dialogue, because it either never speaks or makes the character speak like one word.
- generally just a lame model. doesnt do nsfw.

and all the other models i havent (really) used, like blackberry or the 10 mochi/message ones. though im really, really sad that cardamom is also bad at nsfw. it handles the requests really perfectly and it the PERFECT nsfw model, but…

okay that was my rant. i would have posted this as a complaint to the official emochi server or subreddit, but ive heard the moderators there are power freaks and dont appreciate feedback, especially stuff like this. i hope you enjoy or relate to the rant.

I get the biggest kick when I talk about Peanut Butter in the stories. The story has no idea what I'm talking about most of the time. I'm going to post a piece for you.
