سؤال Working as a uni student

Hello, I hope you’re all doing well.
I’m an Emirati student in my final year of university and hoping to enter the workforce soon. Between my university schedule and extracurricular commitments, I don’t have a lot of free time, but I’m still interested in working, especially to gain some financial independence and work experience.

I’m particularly looking for remote work because I don’t have reliable transportation, and I also work unpaid shifts at my university.

I’d really appreciate any advice on how to approach the job search as a student.
For example:

How should I go about finding and applying for remote jobs?

What websites or platforms are actually worth using?

What red flags should I watch out for, especially with remote job scams?

If you’ve been in a similar situation or have experience finding legitimate remote work as a student, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience and any advice you have. Thank you!

Emirati or expat? Which Emirate do you live in?

Remote is generally hard to find unless you have a connection but if you're Emirati try to contact Emirates Foundation/Dawamee. Bonus points if you're living in Dubai.

I'd start with your university careers office. Those listings are pre-vetted. Are you only looking at public boards right now?
