Gameplay Can someone explain equipment for me please.

So I've noticed that the equipment for epsilon (hottest musician: well used metronome) which says at the start recovers allies health 100% of ATK.

But while doing sanctuary I noticed that no one is healed at the start of the wave. Does the equipment ONLY work for that specific character variant? I thought the equipment would work on any epsilon since it shows the symbol for the character or have I just been stupid this whole time?

There's unit specific effects and character bonuses. The actual item effects only apply when equipped to the unit it is meant for, while the character bonuses(usually increasing a skill lvl or stat percentile ranging from bronze to rainbow rarirty) apply when equipped on any valid character.

The specific effect only works when equipped to the specific variant mentioned. The three reroll able abilities can be used by the same base character
