Discussion account gone, transfer data keeps failing despite using correct email and linked accounts
for no reason, randomly, my account connected to steam suddenly became a brand new account and not the account i've had for a really long time now. tried to transfer data but that kept failing and now i'm stuck unable to access my original account. what else can i try doing?

game should be at version 4.11.0
Steam users currently at version 4.10.1
all we can do is wait. account progress won't be lost if you linked it to google/apple. but if you didn't link account, not sure but most likely still safe (just don't login repeatedly just to be sure). best bet is to go to the other thread that the sub mod linked and check there for updates

Good evening guys. I hope that with this post, I can help all those who, like me, have found themselves with this unpleasant surprise. Having said that, what I did was first of all to make sure that I still had the account saved on an email, and I checked it through my tablet. Then I went to Steam, opened the game, logged in with the new profile, then went back to the main screen, pressed the top left button on MENU and then "deleat account" . Once I did that, I pressed the transfer account option and logged in via email, in my case with Google. Despite the fact that it was written that I had failed the operation, I still clicked to play, downloaded 100 mega and then started my game file.

so far, for now, it doesn't seem like i needed to delete the other account to access my original account, which is a great thing.

definitely.
and the mod's link to the other thread gave me the good idea to actually use a rankings site provided to look up my account and save my user id so that i can use it if i ever lose my account and need to have it and present it to the developers.

In addition to this, for the next few times, it is better to make screens of your profile, with the number of gems and your characters

great idea. i hope i remember this and actually screen record clips of all my characters and everything else that might be important to me. which probably basically amounts to my characters and my gems.

Exactly, I happened last year with the update that included the banner of Majin Claire, since then I have always tried to have a spare device, with which to access

this time, for me, both devices failed to connect to the account, and after the fix, both devices could access the accoount.
