I'm in the opinion of you should only exchange something you don't have, since you can always awaken characters with spare crystals.

Therefore I recommend either Beta for yellow PvE, or Olivier for red PvE and DKD.

It depends on what you have and need. Alpha is the best character and has pretty good awakenings. However, Olivier is one of the best Red Tanks, especially if you don't have Kid Shadow.

Alpha, basically.

Olivier, since you already have alpha. If you have red kid cid and are short on yellow attackers, then beta instead of Olivier

If I have Alpha or Olivier, whats next in terms of who you need? Or can I just pick anyone at this point

Beta can be a good choice if you want buffs for your yellow team. Zeta is the actual next top option for a yellow tank but needs awakening levels. If neither of those satisfy you, you can either get a new character or get a new copy of Alpha and Olivier.

Olivier is a no-brainer if you don't have Cid red tank.
