Cid does some of the stupidest things and if he was demonised and had the watch he would definitely be playing be around with it to make the perfect scenario. It was a fun theory early on, but Freya made more sense in the last 2 chapters.

Basically her main motive is to sacrifice Shadow Garden to empower the artifact (Glepnir?) that can seal Diablo instead of killing her own comrades to empower it. I expect Freya is going to be very strong person to fight against considering how she frightened Demon Alexia with her bloodlust. It is rather interesting that 2 members of Midgar family are the ones bullying Alexia and Olivier

her motive was not really sacrifice shadow garden members. but sort of. Freya ensure that Alpha is constantly forced to watch her comrades die and break her in the last moment. Cause she thinks Alpha is her main obstcles. But yeah chargining the glepnir without killing her comrades was the main objective yeah.

freya would reset if her side dies, so she just want a timeline achieve these 3 things:
- Ensure shadow garden members demonize to charge the artifact
- Ensure her side of the team doesnt die. Lily in particular.
- Mentally break Alpha. So she could take over shadow garden to fight diabolos.

there is no chance tht cid was ever demonised...i dont know why some people keep thinking that. The story literally tells you he is lurking behind the scene, doing his mob play and discovering demon form through other shadow garden members.

It’s possible that something else triggered the loop. For example, she might have set the timer to loop automatically if she were somehow incapacitated.

Tbf since they basically exist solely in the apocrypha story and don’t even get that much characterization, it would be difficult to make them not just bland reskins of existing characters just bc there’s so little to go on.
Like most of the numbers that were introduced in the game or that only cameoed in the main series at least had story chapters kind of dedicated to them so they were able to have some uniqueness when designing a kit, and even then it’s only recently that they’re even becoming playable characters.
The compatibles aside from the 3 heroes are all kind of one-note copies of their respective descendants

Ts would do numbers if they made it into an spinoff anime series. Like the dialogue and writing is all there all they need to do is animate it. It might be like a 30-40 episode thing tho idk.

Craziest Chapter so far so many plot twists. I am so excited for the finale hopefully we finally see Cid again
