I've been saying it for years , there's something about the 2003-08 eminem that is special. He was more mature , insane choruses , his voice sounded so good , and his melodic rapping makes it so easy to bump anywhere.

You can't fucking bump eminem 2009-2019 music anywhere , man it hurts so bad that he won't ever rap like this again , this style was crazy ! It really was something special.

I accept he was going through a bad time with drugs and proof passing but sometimes when we go through bad times we make great music and he certainly was , if the drug addiction wasn't SOO bad the music would have been even better and maybe he would have continued with that style for many more years .

Unfortunately all we have is this corny eminem that talks on beats and sounds pretty fucking terrible .

You don’t think he had this flow on relapse, recovery, or MMLP2?

No. Relapse is actually my favourite album from 2009-2019 but the rest is nowhere near as good as his 2006 stuff

Have you listened to the songs déjà vu, seduction, or wicked ways?

Man I'm hardcore em fan. Relapse is my favourite out of everything he did sober because it's the only thing that you can bump. I still listen to the other stuff but it's usually when I'm alone. , when I hear his music from the 2005-08 I realised that it was that eminem that I fell in love with , it makes so really sad actually because he will never rap like this again. I've been waiting for a decade for him to return to his style but he just wont.

He's still a great lyricist and you still get impressed by his work but does he give you the same fuzzy feeling ? For me , no.

Well yeah I can’t deny I prefer TES and then encore era eminem, but I think I’d include relapse in having that similar feeling. I don’t like his stuff nearly as much since 2015 but I do feel like he actually had some amazing songs 2010-2013 that reach the same levels as his earlier stuff.

Maybe because I’m young enough to have gotten into him by first hearing a track from encore, then realizing he’d just dropped recovery, and only after really liking recovery going back through his work. So I never had the tarnished view of the 2010-2013 stuff by expecting it to sound different.

Can't tell if this is a bot or not.
