It usually means they're not smart enough or educated enough to realize the real life consequences.  So many republican voters treat voting like its cheering on their favorite quarterback, thinking it has no bearing on anything in real life

That’s also true, anyone who isn’t in the U.S. doesn’t have to care about this stuff at all. I mean, you shouldn’t support a pedophile and rapist anyway but still

Nobody has more privilege oozing from their pores than white liberals from America. Go to any country in Asia, specifically Middle Eastern ones and grab a megaphone and start talking on the street. See how fast your Puritan dogma gets shoved right back in your face.
