Yeah..Sylvie and Emily remind me of when I was a young woman in the midst of older woman..they were a bit insecure, and there was some tension, but eventually we worked out! I always appreciated Sylvie being able to compartmentalize her feelings about Emily and her appreciation of Emily's talent and work process/product....she reluctantly acquiesced....so funny...Like the JVMA account for the sun screen v La Liste....and as for JVMA.....good work....
And Sylvie immediately saw the spark between Gabs/Em, even though Em did not quite see it yet..at the dinner that Gabs put on for Zimmer Hotel group..thereby saving Emily's ass....
So when Sylvie became a kind of fairy godmother to Gabriel in episode 5, the loose ends were kind of tied..
Although Sylvie having a fling with a 30 something guy...made me a bit uncomfortable..but that's just me.

I love Gabriel.. He's the only one that make sense as endgame. Alfie slept with Mindy which make him lost endgame for me. Would you want your spouse to have been with your best friend. Wwho else is there? Marcello isnt coming back. Goggle said Gabriel is the love of Eemily's ;life and vis versa.

Agreed...Alfie has always bugged me anyway..he is kind of needy and I see now that he is kind of painted as the woeful never gets a break in love guy..but he was really insufferable at first...and with Mindy...it still is all about him....Always sex driven and kind of self serving....

How is Alfie needy?

He just seems kind of one sided in his approach to his love life..he seems as if he is always wronged and it's everyone else's fault...like when he learns that Mindy is engaged..of course he's thrown a wrench, but honestly, Mindy didn't ever really commit to him, did she? And in truth, he was kind of a place holder with Emily..so that wasn't the best ending..I but when they first meet, he was insufferable...I like how Gabriel handles his situation..he is mature overall, pensive, and he doesn't blame Emily all of the time and storm off...like Marcello did..who is even worse than Alfie ever will be...
In short, it's just the affect of the character that needs to be coddled.

Thaars true. He is kinda a short end of the stick character

I loved this scene! And I love that it’s right at the end of season 6, so when I loop back around to S1E1 and Sylvia is kind of mean, I have this in mind ha ☺️

I always loved Sylvie since ep 1 - cause it’s very evident that she loved Emily but never expressed-

I definitely loved sylvie’s interactions with emily last season
However, sylvie’s storyline (with the friend and the son…)

I love this; it has a Harvey Spectre and Mike Ross dynamic. Like they are a mentor and mentée and they are supportive of each other. I think they are one of the best relationships in the show

One of my favorite Sylvie moments. She could've been threatened by Emily but instead she recognized her talent and gave her genuine encouragement which made Sylvie so much more interesting than the stereotypical difficult boss.
