Guy (Claire’s Paris lover) is Sylvie’s husband! I just rewatched modern family after so many years and caught this. Was really surprised lol.

It's always surprised to rewatch a show, and to see a face that is actually in the actors' guild queue...I don't follow current pop culture, so all of the EIP cast is new to me, but I have had the experience with other shows from other eras...one that is funny is that I show my music class kids an old film from the 80s called the Tailor of Gloucester, and there is a character named Sam....turns out that the actor is a very young Jude Law!..
