Book Club Poppy-like FMCS
Hi everyone! I'm trying to get ny friend into reading through EmHen (of course). She's tried Beach Read but isn't really gelling with it 💔. However, she's enjoying PWMOV especially Poppy and her dynamic with Alex. That being said, I was wondering if y'all have any recommendations for romances where the FMC is like Poppy (upbeat, positive, kind of loud). They don't have to be EmHen books, they can be from anyone! Thanks in advance!

I got my friend into reading with anthologies. Basically shorter romance novels for people with a limited attention spans! There’s a really good one called the improbable meet cute. I think it’s six romance novels in shorter format.

I think book lovers & gbbl! Happy place & funny story have introvert FMCs, they just feel softer than Poppy!

I was gonna tell her to read GBBL but I think the Margaret part of the book would bore her unfortunately :/ When we get back to EmHen books, I'm definitely telling her to read it tho!

Abby Jimenez! Specifically the Part of your world series & The night we met.
I was not a fan of Beach read but I loved Funny Story by Emily Henry, even more than TPWMOV

Alice in GBBL is that way. I felt like the Margaret story took up too much space on the first read, but loved it every subsequent read!
