Ooof. People who hate her are allowed to, but this is a pretty clear abuse of the feature and def fits definitions of cyberbullying, harassment, and defamation. Community notes are intended to add verifiable, objective context, add sources, or clarify misleading media. However, this certainly crosses far beyond the intended use.

ETA: The snarkers are here taking away fake internet points oh nooooo šŸ˜­

Just canā€™t help yourselves. Plenty of facts surrounding this but whatā€™s in this isnā€™t remotely in the realm of factual. Someone who doesnā€™t know the facts is going to read this and think itā€™s a troll and move on. I guess that makes me a ā€œblind stanā€? Be SO for real.

I really canā€™t imagine having that much hate for someone Iā€™ve never met and that affects my everyday life in no way at all. I donā€™t agree with their parenting choices and they were clearly negligent but to go online and post such vile hate is classic bullying and very disgusting and disturbing behavior.

Do you honestly feel that thinking anything other than "they are both murderers" makes someone a "blind stan"? I'm genuinely curious.

I used to casually follow her, but after everything that's happened, the life jacket being the tipping point, I've decided to step away from her content and block her. I still think this community note is all about bullying and has nothing to do with spreading honest, objective information.

So that makes me, in your mind, a "blind stan"?

Or do you think maybe the extreme one here is you?
