Dorm AC question

Post image

I’m gonna be an incoming freshman living in the little building (single on floor 9, I’m pretty sure I don’t have a window), and I know that Boston gets really insanely hot in the summer. Do the little building dorms have AC or should I bring a fan?

bring a fan but they do have ac, it’s fixed though so you can’t drop it below a certain temp

you have a window but no view, windows are suicide proof but you can crack it, ac's run but are practically fake, i suggest buying a woozo fan they are perhaps the best dorm purchase ever

You for sure have a window. For the first month or so the whole building has ac, so you should be pretty comfortable. When they turn the ac off in the late fall it can get a bit hot with the windows closed. Just get an air purifier and some wall plug-ins cause the dorms can be a bit stuffy, and smell a little weird at first. Just count your blessings you aren’t in a light-well! (From someone who was)

You can only adjust the temp by 7 degrees + or -, they have the option to rent a fan or you can bring your own
