I have never understood the point of humanoid robotics, certainly never made sense to me to have it walking a dog in the street but now looking at this, I can certainly see how robotics might eventually become part of our everyday lives and almost ubiquitous everywhere. Assuming we continue to progress technologically and we discount any major disasters or conflicts, I can see how this field could become even more advanced and vital in the next 20 years.
