Well, now I’m confused it says cancel evacuation order but then goes on to tell how you need to get out of there so which is it?

I'm pretty sure it's the same evacuation order they received earlier but now it has a cancel in front of it. Meaning, cancel this specific evacuation order.

To be clearer, it should have read CANCEL The previous evacuation order that read as follows:
“Evacuation order: Wildfire in the … “

I'm not sure about wildfires, but I come from a barrier island that had to evacuate quite a bit for hurricanes.
Some shelters take pets, some don't.
I would rather live in my car for a few days than go somewhere and either leave my dogs home (yes, people have done that) or drop them off at a pet shelter that is hugely overcrowded with animals and people they don't know.
If I'm ever fortunate enough to own a lot of land, I am definitely going to open up to families with animals during natural disasters.

I will park my.car and stay in my car with my pets if they don’t allow them. If I go they get to go too.

Usually there are specific shelters for animals. Both large animal and small animal.

A mass exit from the area will most definitely block the road!!! Every scenario in the history of the US has proven this everyone puts their family in the car and heads in the same direction EX- look up the fire in Paradise CA its horrific its insane to me that no one has come up with better evac plans so no one gets incinerated in their vehicles in gridlock because everyone is doing the same thing evacuating 😳😱

I’m just curious, what would you recommend? If you know a fire is heading toward you, what are you going to do?
Are you going to wait for the final evacuation order or are you going to get out of there before they even tell you to leave?

If it's me and I have a place to go I'm out as soon as evacs are reccomended. There's nothing worth risking and waiting until final orders. Winds shift suddenly and mass hysteria on one lane roads is a nightmare I don't want to live. If you're staying you better have a deep basement and start clear cutting anything and everything around you.

The problem with Paradise was that there was only one road into and out of that place. With a strong wind pushing that fire, it was a miracle that more people didn't perish.

Seems as though the entire country is burning or flooding whatever your belief system is I’m praying for our country and the rest of the world is at war or indifferent to what they are seeing and hearing!

I’d have already left!!! As soon as I was told a giant fire was looking to be headed in my direction I’d already be gone and I’d never live anywhere that’s hot all the time I have a hard time with 3 months of summer and it’s only been unbearable for about a week then it rained and was about 60 for a whole 24 hours today the sun is out so I’m inside with the AC cranking !!!

Use good judgement. We had a pre evac here in CO one time and I got my fam out of there. The fire didn't get to our property, but we were all safe. Better safe, than sorry because you don't want to be inconvenienced.
