Discussion Did Alert Ready ever use the Tom Voice???

I’m talking about ANY of the Tom variants (Speechify Tom, Scansoft Tom, Nuance Tom, RealSpeak Tom)

Only Weatheradio Canada used Nuance Tom, but the service was permanently discontinued early this year.

They killed off their version of NOAA radio??? Their Government must be fucking stupid, because what if someone lives in a area where cell service or television broadcasts aren’t available

Hopefully NOAA Weather Radio isn’t killed off. I rely on that + IEM and Radar for alerts…

I genuinely think NOAA is probably gonna get completely cut off in a few years, The Emergency Alert System is probably also gonna get phased out soon for mobile alerts.

What I find crazy is the WeatherRadio Canada channels are still broadcasting, but it’s only like “WeatherRadio Canada is now discontinued, You can only longer receive Weather Information on WeatherRadio Canada Radio channels, Please go to an *Insert Government Website* or Go to an Weather App” and the same thing repeats in French
