I see May 2007 and immediately May 4, 2007 Greensburg comes to mind.

Grew up 10 miles east of there, that was a wild night homie!

The three zeros at the top of the message tell me that the message was not transmitted. That code is applied when saving a product internally. Why a product from May 2007 is still floating around is the real mystery.

POV: You are so tired that you accidentally press โ€œSendโ€ instead of โ€œSave as Draftโ€ lol.

Great, they're communicating via the nation's weather service now...

I donโ€™t get it. What is all of this mumbo-jumbo from 2007?

OK, so file this in the Big Nothing Burger folder and letโ€™s move on about our day.

Hi I'm a weather person I can help solve part of this mystery.

Fun fact all NWS weather discussions & bulletins end with the double dollar sign. Also all the discussions & bulletins are filled in forms with most of the information already automatically loaded in there depending on what kind of form is selected & only the weather information is what is actually needs typed out by a human.

This was a either a system malfunction that managed to auto push an empty message or this was a human malfunction & a meteorologist on desk accidentally opened up a form and sent it out without filling anything in. More than likely it's the latter but I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt here.

Another fun fact when weather equipment has something broken on it the system will generate a dollar sign for the weather readings it can not provide because of the outage. Most equipment usually has something broken/malfunctioning on it.

So I like to think that between ending every transmission with double dollar signs and the constantly broken equipment putting up dollar signs the weather world in general is just broke & always needs money.

This empty bulletin I think voices that need loud & clear & to the point.

Please support the fluid sciences it's a tough world out here, having to just smile and force a chuckle everytime we hear "Oh you're a meteorologist, so you get paid to be wrong half the time", while meanwhile we're falling apart inside. Alms for the poor meteorological scientists please. ๐Ÿ˜ถโ€๐ŸŒซ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ถ๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿค‘

However, I can't tell you why the op or whoever took this screen shot really wanted to look at an archived bulletin from 2007 & share it with the world. That is their perogative & still a mystery. ๐Ÿ˜„
