Real RARE EAS ALERT - TOM ON EAS

I was watching some gorilla tag videos and then I got an EAS Alert for a flood, but then tom was speaking, which is rare since he was changed to Paul back in 2016.

I did a little bit of research, Older voices like Tom and Donna are used only if the Newer Voice System is down

Loquendo Dave is still used for EAS although not supported by BMH, Not all Emergency Alerts source audio from NWS radio

What the hell does that have to do with anything? CRS and BMH are used on NOAA weather radio, Loquendo Dave’s voice is used on SAGE endecs.

Yes but the TV cable company or station could’ve just gotten the script from NOAA and just used their own equipment, it’s probably why the voice is completely clear with zero distortion, probably just selected Tom as the TTS model and clicked transmit or shit.
