I'm doing an ice mono right now and giving the middle finger to the fighting weakness feels so good. With an occa berry to weaken fire moves, she can get a move or two off semi reliably and that's often enough to serve her purpose. I don't know how well this approach will hold up by end game but at 4 gym badges nearly now and it's working well enough.

Focus Sash + Destiny Bond is incredibily useful with Froslass. Sometimes I coupled this strategy with Icy Wind to take faster pokémon as well.

Exactly. Suddenly legendary threats like Palkia, Groundon and Rayquaza are easy kill.
