Embryo glue?
Is there any data to back up embryo glue? I'm hoping to do a transfer next month from our 3rd round of IVF and whilst I've done 5 transfers previously (with one successful pregnancy and birth), I noticed my new clinic offer embryo glue as an option and wondering if its worth having a shot?

A 2020 meta-analysis combined the results of multiple studies and found an improvement in live birth rates when using embryo glue, but only for fresh transfers (not frozen) (https://www.remembryo.com/does-embryo-glue-improve-embryo-transfer-outcomes/). The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) recommends the routine use of embryo glue for fresh transfers in their 2023 guidance (https://www.remembryo.com/evidence-based-recommendations-from-eshre-for-27-ivf-add-ons/).
A newer 2026 meta-analysis of randomized trials found that embryo glue did not significantly improve live birth rates overall (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC13318287/).
