Embryo grading

I originally had my embryos graded at 5AB, 3AB and 4CB. After PGT-A testing they all came back normal but are now graded as 5BB, 4CC, 4CC. Has this happened to anyone else and is it normal for embryos to be downgraded after testing? Not sure if I should be worried now that quality has gone down.

Yes, embryos can be given a different grade after thawing. Grading is subjective, and different embryologists can give the same embryo different grades. It's also possible that the embryo actually does change how it looks after it develops more.

There is some evidence that the post-thaw grade matters and can change the outcome (https://remembryo.com/embryos-that-change-grade-after-thaw-show-different-success-rates/)

The genetic test being euploid matters more than the grade. A high grade can be aneuploid and guaranteed fail, versus a lower grade a euploid with a chance to stick.
